A great higher-level thinking activity involves comparing and contrasting two things via a Venn diagram. And it is easy to do on the computer!
-
-
1.Open a new blank PowerPoint slide.
-
2.Draw a nice large circle and then duplicate it.
-
3.Arrange the circles so they are offset as shown at the right.
-
4.Double-click the “top” circle.
-
5.Change the color if you want, and change the transparency to about 50%. (For older versions, use the paint bucket tool to change the fill color to “no fill”)
-
6.Use the text box tool to add labels and to add information to the sides and center of the venn diagram.
Note - double-click the text box tool to keep it selected. Press the escape key to de-select it.
